Water Softeners Unit Natural water contains various digress of hardness. Hardness in water is due to the presence of calcium and magnesium. Softening unit utilized where water hardness in itself, or the scaling caused by it, creates problem.

Function :
- Shree Samarth Engineers Softeners comprise of a Mild Steel / LLDPE / FRP pressure vessel containing cation exchange resin in sodium form, & assembly of valves / Multiport valve, piping for directing / controlling water flows and a regeneration system having salt solutions tank and hydraulic / inbuilt injector
- The water flow through the resin and undergoes softening. Depending on the level of hardness, the exchange resin softens certain volume of water and then gets exhausted. The exhausted resin is regenerated by passing salt solution through it, during which calcium and magnesium ions held in resin are replaced with sodium. Thus softening involves alternate service and regeneration operation
